Five Star Amusements

Here's are some of the true nuts and bolts of what you need to expect when running a Photo Booth Rental business.

• People will call you inquiring about the Photo
  Booth.  The cell phone you use should be dedicated to the business so that you can answer professionally such as "Five Star Amusements, this is Ken, how can I help you?"  You'll need to be able to explain your service (and we'll teach you how to do this).
• Plan on Saturday evenings being your primary work day of the week (this is when most weddings and parties happen).  The rest of the week is mostly answering calls, sending emails and writing contracts (we'll provide you with copies of the contracts we use).
• The day before an event, you'll rent a truck with a liftgate from either Budget, Penske, Ryder or some other rental company.
• Plan to arrive at an event at least 90 minutes prior to it starting.  This allows you time to park the truck and roll the booth into the venue.  Always allow enough time for traffic.

What kind of realistic rates can I charge and what might my profit be?

Where you live may make a difference in what you can charge.  Our rates range from $1,495.00 to $1,695.00 for up to four hours of unlimited photos.  We also offer additional hours to our clients of $175 per hour.

If you are working the events yourself and do not have to pay any employees, your only costs should be advertising (Google), paper and ink, and the truck expense.
